At Parkridge, we feel that it’s OUR responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church.  We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are all a part of Parkridge.  And we know that your first time at any church brings up some questions. Here is a quick look at what you can expect when you visit on Sunday . . .

Celebration & Reflection

We begin our services with music and celebration.  In the Old Testament of the Bible, God called His people to give Him sacrifices, and today we give Him a sacrifice of song.  These songs speak about our love for God and celebrate all the things He has done for us.

Message from God's Word

The message is perhaps the most well known part of worship.  It is a time for us to be inspired by hearing the Bible and applying its teachings to our lives.  We believe that through these teachings, the Spirit of God will encourage and challenge us.

Response & Application

At the end of the message, we always want to provide you with a chance to respond to what God has encouraged or challenged you with this morning.  You may wish to go to God in prayer or talk to a pastor about what is on your heart.

Tithes & Offerings

We give a financial gift to God every week.  This is a time for Parkridge members and others to give back to God as He has blessed them.  Please understand that we do not ask for any financial gift from a guest.

What is the PURPOSE of this church?

We believe that God has the same purpose in mind for the church as He does for people. At Parkridge, we use five words to help us remember God’s desire for our ministry. Everything we do is in an effort to help people grow in these areas of their lives.

Worship: Celebrate God’s presence through praise and worship.

Fellowship:
Incorporate God’s family. Find out what we do here at Parkridge and how you can get involved.

Discipleship: Educate God’s people.

Ministry: Demonstrate God’s love through the giving of your time and/or talents.

Evangelism: Communicate God’s Word

How do the Five Purposes fit into my life?

None of the five purposes come naturally to anyone. Everyone can find room in their life to grow deeper in fulfilling God’s purposes. At Parkridge, we try to simplify things to help you know how to do this. You’ll see that the Parkridge Process is directly connected to God’s purpose in creating Changed Lives Serving Together.

Connect to God

Our Sunday morning worship services are the best way for you to connect with God. These services are designed for you to pursue God’s desire for you to worship Him. Click here to see video on how to connect with God! >>

Connect to People

There are a variety of ways at Parkridge where you can connect with people to enjoy great fellowship and learn to love others. The best way is to join a Small Group. There are several that meet on campus each Sunday, as well as some that meet during the week. Grab a “Small Group” brochure and find one that fits your schedule!

Connect to Ministry

We all have gifts and abilities that God has blessed us with. God’s desire is that we use those to serve others and increase the church’s ability to minister to others. Every ministry at Parkridge has room for more volunteers and there is a place waiting for you!

Connect Others to God

There is always someone in our lives that needs to know they can have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus’ last command was to “go and make disciples.” Well, making disciples starts with evangelism and at Parkridge we want to challenge and equip everyone to share their story with people in their world.
