East Asia Partnership

Parkridge always wants to join the work of God as He expands His Kingdom.  In East Asia, we will be joining a team of friends that are working to see house churches expand throughout a city we refer to “Dumpling Heaven”.

Some of our activities will include:  Prayer walking, social gatherings where bridges can be built for the team; teaching English;  gathering small groups to help the local believers connect; and encouraging our partners and  learning how we can offer prayer support from the states.

All of our activity will go toward the goal of discovering “people of peace” that will be key to establishing churches in this region. 

Our Partners:

We work with a young couple who are building a team for our missions sending group to reach “Dumpling Heaven”.  They came to the field in 2006 .  As this group worked they found a cell or house church network already there, but in need of training and vision for expansion.  They are now supporting the existing movement’s leader, while seeking to start new chains or networks of house churches.

The Place:

"Dumpling Heaven" and it's surrounding areas are heavily populated with over 3 million people.  It is a center for industry, containing many factories and universities.

Who’s the Trip For?

This trip is ideal for adults—especially young adults.  Teenagers with their parents are welcome.
